Deanship of Student Affairs
The Deanship was established by a decision of the President of Jeddah University in 1436 AH, and it contributes to achieving the mission and goals of the university by providing an attractive environment that contributes to deepening students’ connection to their faith and national belonging and enabling them to excel in the labor market.
Agency Tasks
- Disbursement of monthly student stipends, stipends for persons with disabilities, academic excellence awards, allowances, and subsidies.
- Providing guidance and counseling services to achieve psychological and social balance and improve the quality of university life.
- Communicating with students with disabilities and providing an environment that enables them to achieve their ambitions.
- Educating students about their rights and instilling the concepts of justice and fairness to foster mutual respect within the university.
- Discovering and developing students' talents and abilities by activating scientific, cultural, skill-based, sports, social, and artistic clubs.
- Creating a competitive, motivating environment by organizing competitions within the university and participating in external championships.
- Enhancing behavior and discipline, managing behavioral standards, and reducing the rate of infractions to foster an ideal learning environment.
- Supporting future leaders and graduates with programs and training courses that facilitate entry into the labor market.
